David G. Perez Jr. from Dimmitt Texas, died Friday, Feb. 4,2005 . Services were at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Guadalupe Mayorga officiating. Burial was at Westlawn Cemetery in Dimmitt,Tx. David was born June 19, 1949, in Brownsville, Texas. David was a member of the 1969 Dimmitt High School Class Graduate. He attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX and TSTI in Amarillo, TX. He worked as a tax assessor for the city of Lubbock for 15 years before moving back to Dimmitt in 1998. He enjoyed reading, playing chess with his brothers, nephews or friends. He was always helping people in all sorts of ways. David spend many hours at the library reading and chatting with his friends. He enjoyed listening to his music collection and working around his mother's house. He enjoyed being around his nephews and teaching them to learn many things. David is missed so much by all of his family. He was preceded in death by his father David Perez Sr. and his mother Santos Guerra Perez of Dimmitt, Texas.
